My stay in the Philippines will never be complete without a breakfast with TAHO!
I am currently in the Philippines for a 3-week vacation. For the next few posts, I’ll be showcasing Pinoy foods that I will have during my brief stint in my home country.
Lugaw with calamansi
I got hungry looking at these when we passed by one Cinnabon stall at Dubai Airport.
I loved it.

From Al Yahar Modern Restaurant
Pandesal is a Filipino bread. A new restaurant recently opened in our place and offered freshly-baked Filipino goodies, including pandesal.
Because the Filipino expats surely missed pandesal from back home, tne queue in this restaurant is always long. This morning, my wife braved the long line of customers and was able to buy freshly-baked pandesal for our breakfast.
We enjoyed it with coffee and our choice of spread.
My wife celebrated her birthday at Applebees and we ordered these foods for our guests.
Pasta with chicken
